Refund and Return Policy
All products sold by GAY SKATE come with standard manufacturing guarantees against faults.
Manufacturing Faults
If a product is found to have a manufacturing fault, we will:
Replace it free of charge, or
Offer a refund once we confirm the fault resulted from manufacturing (not extreme use, overuse, wear and tear, accident, neglect, or negligence)
Where practical, we will repair a faulty product. Otherwise, at our discretion, we will replace it.
If the product fails due to wear and tear, accident, neglect, negligence, or is outside the warranty period, we will happily repair it for a reasonable charge.
Please note: Refunds will not be provided simply for change of mind or incorrect sizing alone. PLEASE CHOOSE CAREFULLY!
Unfortunately, we generally cannot offer a refund or exchange if the customer simply changes their mind, as many of our products are made to order.
Typographical Errors
If an item in our online store has been mistakenly priced, we reserve the right to:
Cancel your transaction, or
Offer you the choice of paying the difference or receiving a full refund
If an item is overpriced, we will refund the difference to you. Each transaction will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Your Shipping Address – Important
Please review your shipping address carefully during checkout.
If your order is lost or returned to us because of an incorrect address entered by the customer, we cannot process a refund until the item is returned to our possession. Please note that courier services may take several weeks to return an item shipped to the wrong address.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee delivery or refund for incorrectly entered shipping addresses. Where possible, we will contact the courier and attempt to update the address and locate the parcel. We strongly suggest that customers also do this using the tracking information provided by the shipping company.
Lost Packages
Ownership of packages transfers to the courier once your order is shipped.
We are not responsible for packages that are lost, held, delayed, or damaged after shipment, but we will do our best to help you locate the package in the shipping network where possible and follow relevant complaint and resolution processes.
You will receive a tracking number and order confirmation via email. If you don't receive your tracking information, check your spam folder first.
Once the package leaves our shop, the carrier is responsible for all delivery issues. If you experience any shipping problems, please contact the carrier directly for assistance. For questions or concerns, feel free to contact us.
Refunds, Returns and Exchanges
GAY SKATE wants you to be pleased with your order and we will always do our best to resolve any concerns.
If your order arrives damaged or is incorrect:
Please email us as soon as possible at info@gayskate.com.au with your order number and a photo of the item. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution ASAP, including replacement or refund.
Change of Mind:
We are unable to process refunds based solely on change of mind, as we create and supply our products to order and have limited capacity as a small business.
If there is a simple solution for local customers, we will always aim to assist you with an exchange (if we possibly can) to get the correct t-shirt sizing, for unworn and undamaged items only.

How Do I Return an Item?
Reach out to us first. A photo of a faulty product or incorrect order is often adequate to initiate a replacement or refund. If your order needs to be physically returned, we will let you know—please follow the instructions below:
GAY SKATE must receive your return within fourteen (14) days from the date of receipt
In its original condition and packaging with all product components included. If the product included a bonus offer, the bonus item must also be returned in its original condition and packaging with all components included
Together with original proof of purchase
Returned with original tags in place and in original condition. Products that are worn or otherwise damaged will not be accepted, unless it is deemed an approved warranty claim
Attach a return address label to the outside of the shipping box. Do not use the original product box as the shipping box. If you are reusing a shipping satchel, ensure the original shipping label is removed
When items are received without the receipt of purchase, we reserve the right to issue a credit voucher as full and final satisfaction of the return
You must pre-pay all returns postage. We recommend that you return the product via Australia Post Registered Post, with shipment registration and insurance. You assume any and all risk of loss, theft, or damage to goods during return transit
Legal Rights (Australia & New Zealand)
(AUS) Nothing in these Terms & Conditions should be interpreted as affecting any statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law regarding refunds and returns (for example, faulty or damaged products).
(NZ) Nothing in these Terms & Conditions should be interpreted as affecting any statutory rights under the Fair Trading Act and the Consumer Guarantees Act. All other terms and conditions above will apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time without further notice.
