SHIPPING POLICIES
ORDER PROCESSING & DELIVERY ESTIMATES
1. Australian Orders (T-shirts, Tote Bags, Colouring Books, Laces, Leashes, Sticker Sheets, Skate Lights, etc.)
- Processing time: 2–3 business days
- Dispatch: Australia Post
- Estimated delivery: 3–6 days from dispatch
- Bulk and Custom Orders: 2 weeks processing
2. Pride Apparel, Mugs & International T-Shirts
- May be printed on demand in the USA (or local partner location where possible)
- Processing & shipping: 2–7 days
- Delivery timeframe varies by location
- Check your email for tracking information once dispatched
3. Accessory Orders
- Processing time: 1–2 business days
- Estimated shipping: 5–12 days
- Occasional delays may occur due to supply availability or shipping issues
You'll receive an email within 24–48 hours confirming when your order will be on its way!
SHIPPING COSTS (Australian Domestic Orders)
- T-shirt Shipping (up to 3 shirts): $12 via Parcel Post with Tracking
- Local Skate Accessories (laces, leashes, lights, etc.): $6 via Parcel Post
- We ship in the most economical way possible and will refund any excess shipping charges
Select your shipping option during checkout. Local delivery is available for addresses within Australia. If the local delivery option doesn't appear, your order may not be eligible for delivery or pickup in your area.
LOCAL PICKUP – South East Queensland
Orders can be picked up at:
- GAY SKATE events, market stalls, and meet-ups
- Brisbane City Skate (Milton, Brisbane)
Let us know your preferred pickup location in the Check-out Notes or via email/message. If you'd like to pick up an order at an event you're attending, notify us as early as possible before the event so we can prepare your order.
PRINT ON DEMAND
Some made-to-order items are shipped directly from the manufacturer and are subject to the manufacturer's production times, shipping timelines, and costs. We'll provide expected shipping dates for your orders as soon as they're available.
ACCESSORIES
Accessories may be shipped directly from supply partners inside and outside Australia. Estimated shipping is 5–12 days from order processing. Accessory orders may experience occasional delays due to international shipping and/or availability issues. We ship directly from suppliers where possible to improve freight costs and product availability.
YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS – IMPORTANT!
Please review your shipping address carefully during checkout. If your order is lost or returned because of an incorrect address, we cannot process a refund until the item is returned to our possession. Courier services may take several weeks to return an item shipped to the wrong address.
We cannot guarantee delivery or refund for incorrectly entered shipping addresses. Where possible, we'll contact the courier to attempt an address update and locate the parcel. We strongly suggest you also do this using the tracking information provided by the shipping company.
LOST PACKAGES
Ownership of packages transfers to the courier once your order is shipped. We are not responsible for packages that are lost, held, delayed, or damaged after shipment, but we'll do our best to help locate your package in the shipping network where possible.
You'll receive a tracking number and order confirmation via email. If you don't receive tracking information, check your spam folder first.
Once the package leaves our shop, the carrier is responsible for all delivery issues. If you experience shipping problems, contact the carrier directly. For questions or concerns, feel free to contact us.
REFUNDS, RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
GAY SKATE wants you to be pleased with your order, and we'll always do our best to resolve any concerns.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders:
Email us as soon as possible at info@gayskate.com.au with your order number and a photo of the item. We'll work towards a satisfactory solution ASAP, including replacement or refund. You will not necessarily need to return a damaged or incorrect item to receive a refund or replacement - contact us first.
Change of Mind:
We are unable to process refunds based solely on change of mind, as we create and supply products to order and have limited capacity as a small business. For local customers, we'll aim to assist with an exchange (if possible) for the correct t-shirt sizing, for unworn and undamaged items only.
